SCORE, Counselor’s to America’s Small Business is one of the oldest non-profit organizations with a mission to help small businesses succeed. Celebrating their 40th Anniversary, they have, to date, served over 6 Million people nationally. They help small businesses succeed by educating, counseling and mentoring budding entrepreneurs. They have a well-stocked library with plans for many businesses. Their volunteers are real world professionals who donate their services, so SCORE can provide counseling and mentoring free of charge.  There is a small fee for seminars and workshops to cover the cost of their workshops.  A resource partner for the SBA: SCORE works very closely with SBA and major Banks to help entrepreneurs get necessary funding to start their business.
