Deepa Thakur has over
20 years experience as a lawyer in India and
United States. She graduated from Poona University
and then obtained Law degree from Bombay
University. She has experience in corporate and
immigration areas of law in India and United
States. Currently her practice is limited to
Immigration law, mainly business immigration,
helping numerous US (all 50 states) and
International businesses with their business and
family immigration needs. Deepa has volunteered
her time at St. Luke�s Hospital and many
Asian-American organizations. She has addressed
several immigration related seminars arranged by
organizations such as South Asian Chamber of
Commerce, South Asian Bar Association, Daya and
Indian Senior Citizen�s organization. Deepa is
married for 30 years to Mr. Ajit Thakur, a
prominent CPA in Houston. Their daughter, Pallavi
Thakur obtained MA from American University and
was chosen Student of the year 2000. Deepa is a
member of American Bar Association and American
Immigration Lawyers Association.
