Vijay Goradia is the Founder and Chairman of Vinmar International, a global distributor of Chemicals and Polymers. The company has been in business for 35 years with a record of continued growth and profitability. Vinmar markets petrochemicals in over 100 countries through 30 global offices with annual revenue in excess of USD 4 billion. Vinmar is the recipient of The US President’s E Export Award.

Vijay has had ownership interest in chemicals businesses since 1978. He has several other investments in manufacturing assets that produce different chemicals, polymers and synthetic rubber. He is also the Chairman of Lion Chemicals, Haverhill Chemicals which produce polymers and chemicals and of Goradia Capital which is involved in private equity investments. In recognition of his entrepreneurial success, Vijay received the US Gulf Coast Regions E & Y Texas Entrepreneur of the year.

He is on the Board of Houston Technology Center, a technology incubator.

He is also on the board of the Greater Houston Partnership

Vijay was re-elected to the Trade Advisory Committee of the US Department of Commerce for the period 2014 to 2018.

He is a long time advisor to the Indo American Chamber of Commerce of Greater Houston.

He supports numerous Not for Profits in the US as well as in his country of birth, India. He is passionate about entrepreneurship and about education and commits his time and resources to these causes.

Vijay is the founder and past Chairman of Pratham USA, a grassroots organization providing preschool and remedial education to millions of children in India.

Through their family foundation, he has committed 100000/- each year in prize money for spurring technology innovation based enterprises in the Texas Gulf Coast region.

Vijay is married to Marie. They have two children.
