THE SDB GROUP
Narayan graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2010. He received a degree in Finance and the esteemed Business Honors Program (BHP) from the McCombs School of Business. He currently serves as the Business Development Officer for The SDB Group. SDB is involved in several different facets of the oil and gas industry from manufacturing to distribution to exploration. During his time at SDB, Narayan leads international and domestic expansion and market development covering North America, Africa, and Asia. He also currently serves as president of two SDB subsidiaries and director of another. In addition, Narayan is the treasurer, regional VP, and youngest director for the National Association of Steel Pipe Distributors (NASPD). He also serves as Fundraising Chair for the Financial Analyst Program (FAP) Advisory Council, the steering committee for the academic program at the McCombs School of Business. In addition to serving on the Chamber Board , he is a Director for the Houston Chapter of Magic Bus, an activity based charity which helps children transition out of Indian slums to become socially responsible members of society.
