President and CEO, Piping Technology and Products, Inc.

Durga D. Agrawal is the founding president of the IACCGH and India House, Inc. Currently, Dr. Agrawal is the President and CEO of Piping Technology and Products, Inc. along with its subsidiaries Sweco Fab, U.S. Bellows, Fronek Anchor/Darling Enterprises, Inc., and Pipe Shields, Inc. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Friedman Industries.

Dr. Agrawal was selected as the 2001 U.S. Small Business Person of the Year for the State of Texas by the U.S. Small Business Administration; chosen as the Entrepreneur of the Year by the Asian Chamber of Commerce of Houston in 2006; and awarded the Texas Industrial Engineering Lifetime Achievement Award in 2010. He is a member of the University of Houston’s Industrial Engineering Advisory Board and Cullen College of Engineering Leadership Board. Dr. Agrawal was also appointed to the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board by Governor Rick Perry in August of 2009.

Dr. Agrawal received a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Delhi, India, and Master’s and Doctorate degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Houston.
