Adiam Tekeste is a Commercial Account Manager for Shell Aviation, where she partners with leading airlines—including Delta, JetBlue, and Southwest—to support jet fuel procurement and advance Shell’s sustainability goals. Prior to her current role, Adiam held several commercial positions within Shell’s Trading & Supply organization, including supporting Natural Gas sales and Middle Distillates global operations. These roles have equipped her with a broad commercial and operational perspective across the energy value chain.

Beyond her professional work, Adiam is deeply committed to community outreach and advocacy. She has held leadership positions across multiple employee resource groups at Shell and is a key organizer of our longstanding partnership with UNCF Houston raising funds to connect underrepresented students across South Texas with access to scholarships, college readiness resources, and a supportive community network. Outside of Shell, she actively supports community-led infrastructure initiatives aimed at creating safer roadways and fostering equitable access to opportunity, healthcare, and sustainable growth in Africa. She also serves on the board for the Heights Kids’ Day of Music, a nonprofit organization that promotes creativity, cultural engagement, and a love for music and the arts among youth. Adiam and her husband are raising two young children—a son and a daughter—with a strong appreciation for diverse cultures, including their Eritrean heritage.
