IACCGH Happy Hour

Some 60 members of Indo American Chamber of Commerce of Greater Houston (IACCGH) enjoyed a relaxing evening of networking and drinks during a Happy Hour hosted recently by IACCGH at Kirby House in Houston on April 15, 2022.

While IACCGH hosts many business events and offers meet and greet opportunities to its members, this happy hour – one of the first of its kind – was planned to foster networking and social connections among the wider community of Houston in an informal setting, especially as the restrictions eased post pandemic. “I met several friends after a long time and made some great new contacts. I appreciate all the work IACCGH does to keep our community growing,” said Sang Karle, attending member of IACCGH and President of Askara Group.

“IACCGH did a terrific job of hosting a unique happy hour experience at Kirby Icehouse. Good tasting food, drinks and most importantly, an opportunity to meet and interact in person with fellow members was time well spent,” said Eric Merchant, attending member of IACCGH and Vice President at Trust Bank.

Our mission is to enable our members and young professionals of the greater Houston community professionals to succeed and offer opportunities to their personal and professional networks,” said Jagdip Ahluwalia, Executive Director of IACCGH. “To that extent, we will continue to organize a variety of events that are of value to our diverse members.”

IACCGH was established in 1999, and since then, has been offering programs carefully designed for creating opportunities for knowledge exchange, collaboration, and maximization of resources for our members- a diverse mix of large-scale corporations, small businesses, professionals, and individuals of Indian origin. These events also provide a platform for increased visibility for our member audience, and access to networking opportunities with other members, non-members, partners, and alliances.
