IACCGH strengthens its bonds with Industry in Bengal, India

Houston, TX – IACCGH has signed a strategic alliance with the Bengal Chamber of Commerce & Industry (BCCI), Kolkotta. The formal signing of the documents took place at Kolkotta in Feb 2004 and the document was signed by Biswadep Gupta ( President BCCI) and Ashoke Nath (Past President IACCGH).

The IACCGH realizes that for growth to be meaningful and globalization to be effective there is a constant need to interact and forge alliances with institutions and Chambers of Commerce across India. In the recent past the Chamber has entered into alliances with IACC India among other organizations.

IACCGH has evolved on the three guiding principles of improving business know-how through speaker driven events, aligning itself with other Chambers of Commerce in India and the US to share best practices and focusing on the US_India Advantage, an altruistic program, which attempts to serve the community thru macro projects in health and education.

Since its inception in 1999 IACCGH has always focused on serving the needs of small and medium businesses. Every month the Chamber arranges a workshop/seminar educating the community on Diversity Opportunities available to the small business members.

Having undertaken projects like organizing meetings with the world leading Cancer Center M D Anderson cancer Center with Tata Cancer Center Mumbai and AIIMS Rotary Cancer Center in Delhi health issues have been a focus for IACCGH. The Bengal Chamber has also chosen to focus strongly on health & well being issues.
